About me

For over 15 years, I've been creating digital experiences that are powerful, aesthetic and intuitive and user-friendly at the same time.

Alexandra Pexider, MA

Hello, you already know me from the homepage 👋🏻

Things that are important to me in design:

01

User experience requires a holistic approach

Across all touchpoints, I create holistic experiences that make the product or service tangible for the customer.

A deep understanding of the needs, expectations and sometimes fears of customers is crucial.

I look at the user from all perspectives in order to develop solutions that are convincing and optimally support business goals.

02

Clarity in design — focus on the essentials

Reduced design brings out content and focuses on the essentials.

I rely on clarity and structure to bring the message to the forefront without distraction.

Through the targeted use of design elements, the user is intuitively guided through the content. Less is more — and this simplicity gives the design strength.

03

Connection between user and company

My approach combines the needs of users with the goals of the company.

A successful design creates a balance between user expectations and business goals.

I ensure that usability and functionality are in harmony so that the product is successful in the long term — for users and the company.

04

Drive for exceptional solutions

Driven by a passion to create user-friendly and visually appealing solutions, I work uncompromisingly on every detail.

I iterate and optimize until every element is perfect to create an inspiring experience that exceeds user expectations and strengthens business goals.

Education and training

Graduated from FH Joanneum with a Bachelor in Information Design (IND06) and a Master in Media and Interaction Design (MID09), supplemented by a semester abroad in Istanbul.

In addition, continuous training at the Interaction Design Foundation (iXDF) and in Webflow courses.

Agency experience

After several years in leading design and app agencies in Graz and Vienna, I worked as a user experience designer for well-known clients from various industries.

Important projects include ÖBB Ticketshop (terminal, web, app) and the relaunch of the Burgtheater in 2017.

Remote Teams

I have extensive experience working in remote teams and know the benefits and challenges as well as the keys to successful communication.

I enjoy working in interdisciplinary, international teams in which the project language is mostly English — a language that I speak fluently and feel comfortable with.
